Mathmatical Function

 

Mathamatic Functions:

AutoLISP has additional functions which are been defined below to increment or decrement value.


Function : “1+” (sine)
Description: Returns the agrument increased by 1 (incremented). The number can be a real or integer value.
Syntax: (1+ <number>)
Example 1: (1+ 0) result will be 1
Example 2: (1+ 2.5) result will be 3.5


Function : “1-” (cosine)
Description: Returns the agrument decremented by 1 (incremented). The number can be a real or integer value.
Syntax: (1- <number>)
Example 1: (1- 5) result will be 4
Example 2: (1- 2.3) result will be 1.3


Function : “exp”
Description: Returns the constant e[a real] raised to a specified power [the natural antilog].
Syntax: (exp <number>)
Example 1: (exp 0) result will be 1.0
Example 2: (exp 1) result will be 2.71828


Function : “expt”
Description: Returns the number raised to a specified power.
Syntax: (expt <base> <power>)
Example 1: (expt 2 2) result will be 4
Example 2: (expt 2.0 3) result will be 8.0
